Tom Sandoval & Ariana Madix Split After Alleged Cheating Scandal with Raquel Leviss
On Mar. 3, 2023, it was reported that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix of Vanderpump Rules had ended their relationship.[0] According to sources, the breakup was caused by Sandoval's alleged cheating with their co-star Raquel Levis. The TV personalities began dating in 2014 and were together for nearly a decade before the cheating scandal came to light.[1]
Leviss' ex-fiancé James Kennedy reacted to the news on Instagram, writing, “Hope you all feel as sick as I do. This explains everything.”[2] On the same post, Lala Kent — who had been feuding with Sandoval — also commented and slammed him and Leviss.[3] Kristen Doute also showed her support for Madix in an Instagram Story video where she said, “I don't know why I feel like I need to make this clear, but there's so many people right now wondering if this is making me happy. You guys, Ariana and I have been really good friends for many, many years now, so I'm Team Ariana, all day, every day. That's what's up.”[4]
Meanwhile, Sandoval seemingly addressed the breakup at one of his shows, asking the crowd, “Have you ever been one of the most hated people in America?”[5] He then replied to his own question with “We love her,” referring to Madix. Shay also showed her support by visiting her co-star and accompanying her to a Tove Lo concert, captioning an Instagram Story video with “We rally.”[6]
According to reports, Sandoval and Leviss had been having an affair for around six months, unbeknownst to Madix. Leviss had also previously made headlines for kissing costar Tom Schwartz shortly after his separation from wife Katie Maloney.[7] The cheating scandal and Sandoval's split from Madix will be featured in the upcoming season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, which is now airing.
