Inside Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge’s Lavish Wedding with Star-Studded Guest List
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, on April 22, 2023.[0] The wedding was attended by a star-studded guest list, including Sofia's father Lionel Richie, sister Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Paris Hilton, and Carter Reum, among others.[1]
The pair had known each other for years before their relationship took a romantic turn.[2] Richie's father, legendary singer Lionel Richie, was a frequent collaborator and friend of Grainge's father, Sir Lucian Grainge, who is the Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group.[3]
The bride also revealed that she had converted to Judaism ahead of the wedding, which was officiated by cantor Nathan Lam. Earlier this year, she had shared her decision to convert, calling it one of the greatest experiences of her life.
Sofia wore three stunning bridal looks for the occasion, including a white, beaded gown for her rehearsal dinner and a white, mini dress with a fabric flower for the post-wedding after-party.[4] Vogue managed to capture all of these amazing looks during Sofia's last dress fitting just before her wedding day, during which she couldn't stop raving about her future husband.[5]
In a video posted on the publication's Instagram, the socialite gushed about her groom: “I am so excited.[6] [It's] because I'm marrying Elliot, I know that sounds cheesy—but he is the man of my dreams.
