Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton to Host 2023 ACM Awards with Performances from Top Country Artists and Multiple Nominations for HARDY and Lainey Wilson
Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton have been announced as the hosts for the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards, which will air on May 11.[0] The event will take place at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and will be streamed live on Prime Video.[0] The show will be available for a global audience across 240+ countries and territories. The ACM Awards will feature performances from a range of top artists, including Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, and Kane Brown. Award categories include Entertainer of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.[0]
HARDY leads the pack with seven nominations, including Song of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year, sharing three of those nominations with collaborator Lainey Wilson for their song, “Wait in the Truck.”[0] For her part, Wilson received six nods, including Female Artist of the Year.[0] Other artists with multiple nominations include Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, and Cole Swindell.
The ACM Awards will be free to stream live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, with a full rebroadcast available the next day on Amazon Freevee and the Amazon Music app.[0] Presenters at the show include Gabby Barrett, BRELAND, Brandy Clark, Jordan Davis, Mickey Guyton, Tyler Hubbard, Dustin Lynch, TJ Osborne, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, MacKenzie Porter, Dak Prescott, Emmitt Smith, Tanya Tucker, Keith Urban, and Trisha Yearwood.[0]
In addition to the hosts, the show will feature a range of collaborations and performances, including a duet between Trisha Yearwood and Carly Pearce, a remix of Cole Swindell's “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” featuring Jo Dee Messina, and a performance of Ashley McBryde's “Bonfire at Tina's” featuring Brandy Clark, Caylee Hammack, Pillbox Patti, and John Osborne.[0] Other performers include Jason Aldean, Ed Sheeran, and The War And Treaty.
